same eyes, different look
Sometimes I focus so much on myself that I forget I'm not alone. I end up neglecting those I love, and I end up hurting them. I'm so focused on improving myself that I fail to see the positive in others. I've become a negative person. I don't want to be a bad person. I don't know if it's the world, my mind, a mixture, or maybe just an excuse created by my imagination. I blame everything to avoid taking responsibility for my actions. I can't always hide behind how I feel. I must stop making excuses and change. I need to go back to using the eyes I saw the world with when I was little. I need the curiosity and innocence that characterized me. I need to be able to trust the way I did. I must learn to trust, I must improve. I'm willing to sacrifice to improve, I just ask for a little push to get started. A glimmer of trust; what I lack.
