Saint Getrude was a German nun Knowing her must have been lots of fun Because Gertrude knew where love was at As the patron saint of every cat Saint Gertrude was nobody's fool She knew that cats are uber-cool And to add to Gertrude's story She helps folk out of purgatory So to Saint Gertrude let us pray For cats and sinners everyday March 17th is Saint Gertrude's time And that's the end now of this lauding rhyme
