Sails to an End
An open wound tender and sore, a reminder that this sail will soon have an open end. The aches come knocking almost too fast most demanding. A hope marked by a dryness of all that bleeds and sinks. The marquee ship halts in a quiet desperation, Surrendering to a most notable end. The cooling breeze smothers the boiling temperatures and brings me back to my temperate isles of fairness.
