Sadness
Sadness is a heavy weight, That pulls us down, and seals our fate. It's hard to see the light, when it's dark inside, And it's hard to find hope, when we want to hide. It's a feeling that creeps up, when we least expect, And it's hard to ignore, when we feel so wrecked. It's a weight that we carry, deep in our hearts, And it's hard to let go, when we're torn apart. We try to hide it, behind a smile or a laugh, But it's always there, like a shadow in our path. It's a reminder of the pain, that we've been through, And it's hard to shake off, when we're feeling blue. It's a feeling that can last, for days or for years, And it's hard to find comfort, in our own tears. It's a weight that we carry, through the ups and the downs, And it's hard to find peace, when we're wearing a frown. But sadness is not weakness, it's a sign of strength, That we're willing to feel, and to go to great lengths. It's a reminder that we're human, and we're not alone, And that we have the power, to make our own home. We can reach out for help, and we can find a way, To let go of the sadness, and to seize the day. We can find joy in the small things, and in the big, And we can find peace, when we learn to forgive.
