Sad thoughts in my Head
In shadows cast by a childhood's pain, Abused, I sought solace, but in vain. With trembling hands and a heart so broken, I turned to a blade, my only token. Each cut I etched upon my skin, A desperate plea, a battle within. I hoped for relief, an end to the strife, Dreaming of freedom, a break from this life. But The scars became a map of my sorrow, A testament to the pain I couldn't borrow. Each incision, a whispered cry, Hoping one day, this nightmare would die. But the nightmare persisted, relentless and cruel, A haunting ghost, an unyielding fuel. No happy ending, no silver lining found, Just a shattered soul, forever bound. For in this sad tale, there lies no reprieve, No release from the torment that I grieve. And I weep for the child I used to be, Lost in a nightmare, unable to break free. Aching heart, burdened soul, Trapped in darkness, unable to console. In the depths of despair, I lingered there, No glimmer of hope, no light to share. The weight of the world upon my chest, Tears streaming silently, never to rest. Lonely nights, haunted dreams, Echoing screams, piercing my seams. The innocence stolen, shattered and torn, Invisible scars, forever etched, forever worn I wish that I was never born.
