Sad Poem

We feel like a sad poem That never seems to end  The words on the page are infinite  And the tears in my eyes can't help but slip But I'm not warm enough  For the coldness in between the distance  I feel like I imagined your existence I miss the moments when you were present  Even if you currently make me feel invisible My name is too easy for you to ignore  When it appears on your mobile  Was five minutes too much to ask for  You recited that you would always be there  All I hear now are empty words in the wind As your words echo inside my mind  All I want is for you to see me  But I feel like translucent imagery You feel like an echo in the universe That visits me when I'm alone in the dark Your name tattooed inside my heart When I feel like I've moved on  Memories of you find their way back  As they seek refuge inside
