Rules of Self and Life
I only have a couple rules for life. Don't lie, a person who lies holds a knife. Don't break promises. If you can't keep it, don't say it. Protect those who look up to you. Guard and guide them with everything you do. Whatever you do, do your best. You'll never know when it becomes a test. I only have a couple rules for myself. Along with the others, these stay on my shelf. Don't lie, keep promises, protect others, do your best. There is so much more in the rest. Be perfect, no one else will hold you to those standards. Don't trust, you can't trust your parents, so who is is there? If you do trust, be careful, you'll get hurt cause life isn't fair. Make it, others doubt you so prove them wrong. Live freely, there's always a new song. I have few rules, the rules for myself are different from life's. Maybe it's cause I want to suffice. I was taught that I was to be perfect. Others would find that berserk.
