rules of friendship
There is always a rule in friendships, To never fall for a friend, I have always been a rule follower, Until one day I saw him smiling at me as I swallowed every drop of that adrenaline rush, I knew the feeling was something I should be scared of, So I kept that part a secret and shoved it deep inside my heart, But he unfolded everything right away with that damn smile like an art, Strings of violin starts to play as soon as he enters the room, The first bite of waffle was nothing infront of his big chocolate eyes and hair, The way he sings makes me want to become a tape recorder, So that I could record him and hear the songs over and over again in order, How could not someone fall in love with him?! The way he laughs at me as a dimple appears on his left cheek when I do something stupid, Makes me want to believe more in the concept of cupids, Being anti social is my full time job, But for him I would talk to every person known to man even if he's lost, If I told everyone that perfection was impossible, His whole existence would definitely prove that to be a lie, I have always been a rule follower, But sometimes rules are made of glass, And mine was broken long ago in the past.
