rotten apple seeds
In New York's pulse, where dreams collide, I grew up quick, with grit as my guide. A city so rich, its lights never dim, Yet shadows creep in, tempting sin, YHWH's call, Christ’s love so clear, But the streets sing loud, feeding fear. Lust ruled my heart, a misguided flame, Chasing desire, forgetting His name. My brother fell, my world went cold, Drugs wrapped me tight, a devil’s hold. The enemy prowls, to pull us astray, From God’s chosen path, we’re led to decay. Yet in the city's roar, a still voice speaks, Of love over lust, of strength for the weak. Through trials and loss, I’m learning to stand, In New York’s embrace, held by His hand. I bid you goodbye big apple it's been real now destroy and rebuild myself until he is revealed
