Roses and lilacs.
Under the moon, I ache for you, roses blooming in my hands, yet all I feel is the sting. I clutch the lilacs you left behind, your favorite kind, their scent a burning reminder of the love I can't reach, their petals cold against my skin. Beneath the sky of shadowed stars and pain, I crave your touch, my heart a garden of roses wilting. Your absence is a pain I carry, like roses with thorns twisting deeper in the misty world of agony. In the dark, I bury my love for you— with little hope carried, like roses and lilacs reaching for each other in the dark. But even in this endless night, my heart still beats for you, a love both cursed and divine.
