Rose Colored Lenses
Was it deception, or was I just optimistic? I saw no complications, it all seemed so simplistic. As I look back in hindsight, it was unrealistic. Had I seen clearly I could've avoided it all. Blinded by the beauty of lies while the truth hid under my nose. I finally took off my glasses that had the tent of a rose. Red flags and pitfalls, all the dangers exposed. I see so much clearer. Now I'm better off.
