ROSE CARVED
I could crave you. but could never carve you.... I could live without you... And starve you. Starve you of attention.... Starve you of love.... Starve you of seasons... Starve you of tuft.... and yet. I never did. What else couldn't I do? Oh! yes! I could never carve you..... Couldn't carve you... in the lines of my palms. couldn't cuddle you in the destiny's arms.... Couldn't steal you.... with my charms. Now.... I want your head to bear my crest to wear your skin like hides. To make you scream, to redden the skies. But how then..... will the suffering end? It ends... with one of us dead.
