Roofless Connection
Nature has a divine essence, Making all things lucid and clear, As a silent flower blossoms, An indistinct music rings near. Who assumes it in a solitary zone, But a drop of dew softly gleams — For a moment it wets the roofless grass, And vanishes into light’s dreams. It seems there is no difference Between the dark and the light, Just as there is none between The human body and the soul’s flight. The wind writes scriptures on the leaves, The river hums an ancient psalm, And every stone, untouched, unspoken, Holds the universe in its calm. When night folds the world in silence, Stars spill secrets on the earth, And I understand what dew already knew — That small things carry the greatest worth. I walk barefoot to remember this. The soil greets my feet like an old friend. Trees do not ask my name, but offer shade as if I belong. I breathe, and the forest breathes with me. My worries thin out in the open sky. A bird’s call mends a place in me that no human words could reach. When I sit by the river, I am not separate from its flowing.
