Rollercoaster
If I was really happy I'd say life is just amazing, I'd complain about all of the days I'm not frolicking through daisies, I would sit around and count every single second I've been sitting here smiling... But right now I'm rather hopeless, I'm sure that this moment's just shitty timing. If I was really hopeless I'd have given up by now, I'd be floating down a river just southbound of downtown, I would lay awake at night wishing every night that I wasn't awake... But right now I'm rather happy, I'm sure this moment's just an honest mistake. I wish this roller coaster would just crash or at least hit the brakes... If I was really something I'd be able to explain, every interesting thought and opinion inside my brain, I would write a book for hours or just talk into this little microphone... But right now I'm more of nothing, I am bumbling and utterly alone. If I was really nothing I'd pop right out of this plane, I'd be dust spread in the wind and being carried by a train, I would be gust of wind that gives you chills and makes your bones ache... But right now I'm more of something, I am physical and utterly opaque. I wish this roller coaster would just crash or at least hit the brakes...
