Rock me to sleep again
I wonder how death feels like... Is it like how my dad carried me to bed? Safe in his arms, weightless and still, The world fading with the warmth of his hold. Or is it like how my mom pushed me on the swing, Flying for a second, then the sudden drop? Is it the rush before the fall, Or the silence after it? Does it sound like a lullaby Fading into the night? Or is it just one last breath Before everything grows quiet?
