Roadwork
Roadwork signs turned on their sides— caltrops for the god, or gods, the men who built them serve. As if to say: You shall rule us no longer. But my God does not walk with feet along cosmic highways, in and out of existence. He lives in me. I breathe with Him. My heart keeps time with the rhythm of creation. I am His ezer kenegdo— not beneath, not behind, but standing face to face.
