Road Map
I don't think there's a road or map To lead me to a place That will put rest to my burdened heart See, my heart is like a solar eclipse during a west coast sunset But it's also like a dance in the down pouring rain But it's also like lightning in a desert Or even hail to a flower field I'll give you the whole thing And the scariest part about that is You don't even have to give me yours Just feed me a few compliments And pretend like you care See, my heart is like a snowcapped mountain Or a sky full of stars in a forest It's like the smell of blueberry muffins Or penguins on a glacier There's just one thing this heart doesn't have And that's someone to love it back See, this heart is so torn it doesn't remember what love feels like And what it needs is to be treated like it's a heart worth loving And to be reminded what a loving truth is
