River
Like a river it flows on and on, Chasing the sun until the day is gone, Tides may rise, winds may blow, Death lingers in waves undertow, Blood seeps into the rivers depths, Sinking in the forceful currents, Drowning in the endless flow, Fading away, i can see the bright afterglow, Dying water, a cold rivers breath, A lost soul who is now greeting death, Once free, alive and true, Now stood still, quiet and lost out of view, Silent flow, lost in an errie mist, Crashing waves through the universe twist, Currents sigh as reflections drown, No happy ending, as smiles turn to frowns, Blooming flowers begin to weep, Lonley rivers where memories sleep, Aching souls tremble when depressed, An endless journey seeking to find rest, No more living just deaths decay, Rivers mourn all the lost souls, The waves raging out of control, Silence that lingers each and every day.
