Rise Through The Shadows
Once I was crowned , a child the world adored. With joy and light , my days would softly shine. But growing stole the grace I once implored- The warmth was gone , and darkness then was mine. I tasted hate, depression's silent sting, A life that dimmed beneath the weight of pain. Yet still I held to hope , to one dear thing - A love once pure that washed my soul like rain. Though he's no more , and endings left me torn, He woke the self I'd lost growing fear. Alone, I rise anew- reborn, reborn - With God beside, my path is bright and clear. So stand through storms may rage and nights feel long , With faith in him, your soul will be strong .
