Right person, wrong time.
You were the spark that lit my sky, But fate said no, without a why. Our hearts aligned, but life misplayed— Right person, wrong time, love delayed. For love was right, but time was wrong, A moment lost, yet so strong. In another life, another line, We might have had forever's time. Met when stars were almost right, But fate held back the dawn of light. You were the rhythm to my rhyme, Yet still, it was the wrong time. Met like stars that crossed the sky, Fleeting spark, quiet sigh. You felt like home, perfect fit, Yet life had plans, not part of it. You were the dream I couldn't keep, A love that woke but couldn't sleep. Though hearts aligned, the world did not, And we became the love forgot. Dance we started, never done, Two souls divided, yet as one. Perhaps one day, our stars will rhyme— But for now, it’s just wrong Perhaps in worlds beyond our own, Where time’s no tether, hearts are grown, We'll meet again when stars align, Right person, and the perfect time. Wished we met in different times, Would our fate still be the same?
