Ribbon of iron
I sat on the chair in front of my yard The old woman that spoke to me said with a grin That getting someone interested in you Is like pulling on a ribbon it unveils rapidly And it all comes crashing down In the end losses it's precious beauty I am begging to think of all of the times That I pulled on the ribbon so violent That my nails cracked like a mirror That my fingers bled like a sacrificed lamb That my white bones shone through my horrid flesh And I still can't pull it loose It's like it's made out of forges iron My fingers keep bleeding everytime I try to feel full
