Revolution of Music
When I was a girl I used to sing. Getting me to shut up was the difficult thing. My mother used to say 'just listen to the lyrics'. But singing was my hearts own special fix. When I grew up I tended to listen. My eyes filled with music glistened. I was proud to say, I was brought up this way. But my father said, music can't always stay. Now, as a teen I write my own lyrics. As poems or sometimes even real music. My family all say the same things from when I was a kid. But there was no way that I would just stay mid. People say hater's gonna hate. But I refuse to take that bait. Music is the reason I'm alive. Now it's time to take a dive. When I was a kid, used to sing.. Getting me to shut up was the difficult thing. As I got older I tended to listen. The lyrics locked in a prison. Now, as a teen I do all these things. Because I don't care hears, even if it's queens or kings.
