"Reverse the Ticking Clock"
If I could reverse the ticking clock, And walk the path where dreams unlock, I would overcome the pain we see, And make the world sorrow free. I would stop the wars, the hate and the greed, And instead plant a kinder seed, A world where kindness takes the lead, And every heart gets what it needs. I would protect the earth by planting more trees, And paint the stars brighter in the sky." Where no soul suffers, no heart cries, And love would open all our eyes. But time, it only moves ahead, With every tick, a thought is dead. Yet in my heart, I know everything well, That every tick has stories to tell. I would heal the hearts that pain has torn, Help every soul that’s tired and worn. I would clear the sorrow, calm the mind, And bring the peace that’s hard to find. No matter how I wish to fight, I cannot halt the endless flight. What has gone has gone forever, it's just the past. Yet in our hands, the future stays, and the victory is on our side. If I could reverse the ticking clock, I would find the path where love can rock.
