Reverie
Struck by a flash before my eyes Left my half sleep behind. White fades away, black sets in, Eyes can see, but the mind is blind. A bee sting felt like a shard of stone, Its pain shot straight into my bones. Felt like a cave filled with souls, Nothing but the scream of a storm. Staring at a painting full of shapes, Hearing strange mixtapes. A mystery left behind with creeps, Want to blink once, but there's no escape. Standing in the clouds, screaming out loud, No moments to make me proud, no sound. Half rotten wings of mine can't define, Chasing shadows already resigned. Walking close to the silent lake, Strange... why does the reflection break? Blue moon with a crimson gleam? Snapped twice, but it's no dream. Frozen fate, my mind has faded. My broken soul, my sanity tainted. Slowly... I disappear... i disappeared......
