returning home
The dark hands of loneliness haunt me again, In sleep, the sweetness of death tempts me to return home but it teases me and leaves me to wake up to another dawn Would the world be heaven if I was not born Would my absence make the earth dance with happiness I prayed to God, “Please take me home,” But still, I wander, lost and alone. It feels as though there’s more to fulfill, A mission unknown But here I am wishing to return home
