Resilience
What are dreams if they are dashed by the people we love, by parents who genuinely care but are no longer able to see us? What do dreams mean when they are crushed by expectations that will never go away, like fragile glass? What do dreams mean when they are quiet, like an unheard voice, A soft murmur overpowered by the cacophonous words of the world? What do dreams mean when they are taken away, like a precious gem, and replaced with careless obligations? What are dreams that are directed, follow a preset course, and leave our souls in a state of wrath? In the blur of their vision, what are dreams? A brief vision, given up for their enjoyment? However, we continue to cling to the pieces of our hearts and look for the bravery to start over.
