Remnants of Love
Before you, my world was monochrome, A frozen heart, devoid of a home. You brought colours alive, vibrant and bold, Gave me reasons to breathe, to be told. Your presence lit up the darkest night, But like a fleeting dream, you vanished in light. You left me with wounds that won't subside, A heart that bleeds, a soul that can't hide. Yet, the hues you brought remain in sight, A bittersweet reminder of love's fleeting light. Though you left, I'll hold on to the glow, Thanking you for the life you showed me, long ago.
