Remember...
The feeling of not being remembered Haunts me like a ghost Daily it lingers, those thoughts that I dread The thought of being forgotten, it's like acid in my chest I try to push it away, try to find other things to think But the sadness and sorrow just won't let me be And I'm left here feeling so empty They say time heals all wounds But try as I might, these scars won't go away The hurt of being forgotten feels like a black hole And it fills me with sadness and pain That other people can feel and forget so easily But my heart remembers too deeply The feeling of not being remembered hurts more than people know Especially when we try our best to keep those wonderful memories ever so close.
