Pain isn't just physical and other forms of it are real. Even words can become the wounds that cut you deep. Scars will form from those wounds because they still have to heal. That's when they became what you have left to keep. Wounds can feel like they will last for a lifetime. Never reopen those wounds, you'll feel the pain more. Pain is only temporary, you will heal and be fine. Scars Remind Us of the pain, that's what they are for.
