Reluctant Aid
Relatives smile, they come and go, They help you once, perhaps twice, you know. But when the need is more than brief, Their faces stiffen, masking relief. You ask again, the third, the fourth, Their warmth grows cold, their hearts turn north. Taking as a burden , not joy but strain, Which feels heavy like an unspoken pain. So, trust not in all, for all may sway, But lean on love that won't decay. No hope from many, it's clear and true, Except for Maa, who'll always see you through.
