Regret
As I fall deeper into the depths, the shackles of the air pulls me in. Every second could become my last breath, the temperature rising deep within. Inability to feel the warmth that was just inside of my body. I start to feel like an empty vessel, slowly drowning in my pitiful life; Surrounded by this large body of water, as it consumes me in and out. Have I been engulfed into the darkness? This odd feeling of comfort, Just like the tight hug of my mother. The coldness of the water, resembling winter weather. I wanted to scream, but I couldn't. It came back— This childhood friend of mine, named "Restriction". Never leaving any chances for me to initiate action. I could only sit still, as I've always done. But this time, I wanted to do something. I NEEDED to do something. Desperation was the last thing I expected in my near death. Get me out, Get me out— Yet I was too late. Change was always a late comer, and it's often accompanied with regret. I'd already be dead, Before I could even get all my thoughts to rearrange. I wanna do it all over again. Please, please, please, please, please, please— Let me rewrite everything into nothing. — Lovi
