refuse to accept
Who decided to make time so slow? I want to grab them by the collar and shake them until they pass out. If you ask me why I don’t believe in God, I’ll tell you: it’s not a lack of belief. It’s a refusal to accept that the same hand that gave us the feeling of fresh bedsheets, the taste of morning coffee, the sound of my favorite artist gave us debilitating conditions, gave us acts of suicide. I don’t know about you, but I refuse to accept someone all-knowing is sitting by, letting us figure it out.
