Reflections of Myself
I am the poet who hides her face, A phantom lost in cyberspace. My ink is made of pixels bright, My truths dissolve in fading light. So do not seek the girl you see, For she is not the real me. These verses lie, they only play Imagination’s grand ballet. I live in words, not in sight, A phantom of the digital light. All I share, all I write, Is born of dreams in the quiet night. This isn't me, it's just a guise, A fleeting world where fiction lies. The poetry flows, the feelings soar, But they belong to a world I ignore. Don't look for truth in what I say, I weave illusions every day. I'm not the girl you think you see, I'm only what I let me be.
