Reflection
Reflection In the depths of my mind, my reflection is lost, In the shadows of my soul, a deepening frost, Depression grips me, like a heavy weight, Dragging me down to a desolate state, I once saw myself in a mirror, my reflection so bright, But now all I see is emptiness nothing but a fading light, The image I once knew, now only twisted and blurred, A shattered reflection that leaves my mind stirred, The days pass by in a haze of dull gray, Lost in the lingering echoes of yesterday, I try to reach out, but the darkness pulls me back, Entwined in its grasp, I begin to crack, Memories of joy, now tainted by sorrow, Hopes that were pure, now not promised tomorrow, I search for a path, to find a way to break free, From these chains of despair that bind me. But my reflection lost that remains out of sight, Hidden in the shadows of the cold eerie night, I reach out in vain, but my hands grasp only air, Trapped in this cycle of pain and despair.
