Red Rose
It all started slow. No rush, no pressure. Just two souls conversing with each other. No forcing, no expectations. Comfort kept the connection. I never liked yellow before, But I started appreciating the colour. It resembles your smile. A view warmer than the sun's glow. I hated waiting, But now I'm patient. I wasn't good with words, But now I'm poetic. I was contented, Now I want to do better. I chose seclusion, You broke me free. I think I'm starting to see. I might already have offered my red rose to thee.
