I felt pain, As though I were no longer present. Each scene before my eyes a tragedy, Each heartbeat marred the next step, confusing my thoughts. My face adorned with tears and wrinkles. But here I stand, Feelings no longer overwhelming, Love reigning in my heart, Joy echoing through my mind. The noisy night surrenders to silence, Tears transformed into happiness. Here I am, destiny achieved, Healing from a distant past, Bidding farewell to all pain, Waving goodbye to battles fought. Today is amazing, awaiting a brighter tomorrow.
