Reconciliation! Beware!
And now you tell me your lover has gone. They packed up their stuff and left you alone. So hear me now; don't get me wrong. I won't bother you with effusive praise, Or try to impress you with a flowery phrase. (You'll know it's all bullcrap anyways.) I will tell you this; it may seem very strange. You know very well, a heart seldom will change. I have seen it attempted time, time and again. But few people change, and when facing a loss, They keep their opinion, no matter the cost: (The stubbornest person you've come across.) So whom you may have thought so sweet and sincere, Might have turned bitter when they're no longer there. Although they may still say they hold your love dear. If you reconcile: or at least get the chance. My best advice: you should look askance. (They might just be looking to get back in you pants.)
