Rebuttal
A psalm, to no avail, uncovering the once prude veil. A marriage of pain and fear, patronage, formed from compliance. The seal has been bought, just as soul, to it's distraught. For I'm denied comfort within my skin, in hopes of joining an appointed kin. My pains and aches inflicted by self, for my free will feels abandoned to shelf. Even the glimpses and winces of a new, unpaved trail. Flicker out to no avail. Still, I rise. For obedience shall be my demise.
