Really need a nap

I've got a headache, yet the music blasting in my ears doesn't have the same effect as the endless babbling of the mindless words of those around me. The screeching sounds of the voices. Their thunderous bellows, and the constant yammering. They speak and I listen- although the words don't make sense All I want I for the noise to stop. To silence the alien sounds of contentment What I need is a silent night or two to clear my head and to understand why I can't be happy So I can fix the plastered-on smile that I show the world because it's breaking..... As the endless noise filters into my ears What I need is for time to stop For the world to sleep So that I may revel in the quiet nights and find peace in myself As I stare into the heavens So that I might finally- ....feel at home
