Realest shit I ever wrote
I just wish I knew who my pops was before the Alcohol addiction Cause all my life this man I call pops never lived a day Sober And I ain't been the same since he said the worst form of pain is not being loved To replace the love the world took from Him He never understood what it means to be a Father not just a Dad I ain't perfect either I probably did more drugs than my pops, fucked more bitches and broke more hearts This ain't the man i want to be but you can't do better until you know better Can't blame my pops i gotta be my own man , be responsible for my actions See I've tried every single fucking drug on my hands ever touched I just feel like I'm losing myself on some days Even when I get high deep down I feel low It's time we break this generational cycle of pain and addiction messing up our families cos regardless of our pain and trauma there's no excuse for the heartbreak we cause those we love.
