Hopes and dreams seem out of reach Songs and parables teach Love and Charity are the way I know, but why do I stay? In this hole when I aspire To be someplace higher The same mistakes made day to day Fighting my way through the day Just to end up lost and in the way Of those people who know the way Lost and alone are common traits But should I really have those traits? So once again, I'm out of reach Of those things I want to teach to let them know I found a way to tell them not to stay to help those that aspire to have dreams much higher
