Raven Deceptions
You told me you loved me, that you felt care and appreciation. Things I don't even feel toward myself. I played those words in my mind like a record. I thought it was sweet, but a broken record can only ever be broken. It's a reminder of something that once worked now inoperable. Oath breaker, cowardly and deceptive is how I'll remember you. You didn't stay long in my life, but you convinced me that there's no reason to continue seeking my better half. There are none, nor souls mates in this figurative desert. There are brighter days ahead for some, and to those some I send white doves and freshly cut flowers.
