rant.
The point, what’s the point, I cannot see, Will happiness ever come to me? Am I a friend, or foe, or lost? Is everyone against me, no matter the cost? The truth is, I’m struggling, deep in the fight, No one accepts me, though I try with all might. Maybe I’m just too tired to try, To reach for the stars, to touch the sky. I’m torn, pulled in every direction, Trapped in a maze with no connection. Hidden deep within my soul, Giving up seems the only goal. Do soulmates really exist, or is it a lie? A dream I chase, as time slips by. I’m pathetic, I feel it in my core, Wanting someone to hold, to adore. I long for kindness, gentle and sweet, Someone who makes my heart skip a beat. But I’m selfish, I admit it’s true, Wanting someone who’s out of view. Here I am, stuck in my doubt, Wishing, yearning, wanting out. Will I ever find someone who sees me whole, Or will I forever be lost, alone in my soul?
