Dunce At more times than I'll cede, I'm out ambling My mind lost in the clouds, it's just babbling Most of it in the past With some you'll be aghast With not much as a thought, I wrote ramblings: --o-- There's a man, not Chinese, not one bit But his moon cakes he loved to his pith He locked them in his vault Took to guard to a fault When he opened his vault, just rat shit --o-- A young man bought a chocolate bar For a girl who had caught his heart's star His allowance he saved For a month, food he waived But her sweet tooth just caused his heart's scar --o-- Hey! Bill, want to go outdoors and fish? No thanks, Jim. To fish is not my dish; Those new breeds just scare me! What fish breed may they be? Those that may cause you anguish: a catfish! --o-- Once, a man came on line for a chat For a girl with a casual hat For days, he went on line He sat there like a shrine All he got was an excess of fat --o-- A teen wrote a confession of love To a girl he saw and fell in love The young girl, he knew not Her smile just drove him nuts Now a lawyer, confessions, his trove
