Ramadan’s Light
The crescent shines, the month begins, A time for hearts to cleanse from sins. With fasting lips and humbled soul, We seek Allah to make us whole. At dawn, we rise with whispered prayers, Through hunger, thirst, our faith declares. At dusk, we break with dates so sweet, A moment pure, a joy complete. The nights are filled with holy grace, As voices lift in love’s embrace. The Qur’an guides, its words so bright, A beacon in the darkest night. Oh, Ramadan, so blessed, so true, A gift from Allah, fresh and new. May we depart with hearts refined, And carry love for all mankind.
