Ralings and Memories
Warm Sunshine in April New beginnings all around. Looking forward to Spring adventure. In amongst this vibrant assembly,an imprint of the past endures. Sadly forgotten or ignored. Look beyond the tangled weeds Hogweed colonies and fortresses of Bracken. Another world reveals itself, proud and bold. Beautiful Stonework from skilled loving hands,Masons Mark and stamped date of completion of 1865 Send it into eternity. Well kept gardens, Plants and Trees from far flung places The Family Graveyard with sad tales to tell of Infant death, grief still hangs in the air here. The Railings, rusty, bent, but still standing, enclose the memories of those days gone by. I will not let them be lost.. -DJ MacLennan
