Rainy Hope
A windy, rainy day, The sky is dark and gray. A hot cocoa in my hand, To warm me up, across the land. I see people huddled close, Worried faces, in the cold. The wind whispers, a bit scary, The rain falls hard, makes me wary. But we wait, for the sun to shine, To chase away the rain and gloom. We hope for a brighter day, When the clouds will all go away.
