Rainy Day Reverie
Silver-gray decorates the morning sky, Quiet beads of liquid joy passing by. White veils, like weary travelers, sigh, And let their tears fall from on high. The ground glistening in golden light, As droplets dance at dawns first sight. A serene hymn the rain sings gently, A cadence hushed, swaying intently. The flowers surrender in silent humility, Their petals adorned with pearls of nobility. The earth drinks deep, its thirst now quenched, In fragrant mist, the air is drenched. Oh, rainy days, you stir the soul A tender pause, a soothing pull For in your mist, the world feels new, And every heart remembers you.
