Rainbow
I watch As the rain scatters over my green pool And the yellow leaves flutter onto my lawn The rain paints a gold sheen for the sunset The rainbow creates a dome over my head And the rain keeps coming back Again and again It seems like it'll never end I blew my last dandelion I can see blue in the distance You say "I love you" too much I can't wait for the bus As they sky turns gray And the tomatoes turn brown I see barely a color in sight No matter where I look around
