Rain Song
The rain falls down, it’s pouring loud, Like memories that drift through the crowd, I’m standing here, just feeling proud. The streets are wet, the sky is gray, But in this storm, I’ll find my way, Dancing through the night, I’ll sway. Each drop feels like a song I know, A rhythm only hearts can show, I’m caught up in the way it flows. The thunder calls, but I’m not scared, I’ll let the storm show me I’ve cared, In every drop, a dream is shared. I see the world in shades of blue, With every raindrop, I think of you, It’s like the storm is chasing through. The lightning strikes, but I’m alive, In the rain, I feel revived, The storm makes me feel so revived. I’m spinning ‘round beneath the sky, The rain’s my song, I’ll never cry, I’ll keep dancing as it passes by. So let it pour, let it fall down fast, This storm is here, but it won’t last, In every drop, I’ll find my path.
